I've used programs like Duo Lingo and Pimsleur in the past and this program draws the best from both of them and really emphasizes the reinforcement in a way that is more engaging and "authentic" than the other platforms. This feels like the holistic spanish program I've been looking for.

Focused on translation rather than immersion.
People with low auditory short term memory will struggle once passed level 1.
Not ordered in a method that feels progressive for the skills you obtain. (you will hit a wall)
Repetitive program, and uninteresting. You could say it is a bit of a bag drive.

Great language app and really independent for those who like to learn by themselves

Great to hear you’re enjoying the independence the course gives you, Yini. Being able to build a consistent routine and progress at your own pace is a key part of effective language learning, and it’s great to see it working well for you.
There is a persistent problem with the voice recognition of single syllable words. The system does not register any speech or it can't recognize the word spoken. I have nearly completed the first module (lessons 1 - 7) and I consistently encounter this problem. PLEASE FIX IT as it is very frustrating.
