On the introduction module practice, questions contains word which we did not learn. Is there are reason for this kind of flow.

Overall a good language app, but has several issues. On the Italian lessons, the main instructor is not a native speaker, and although the pronunciation is close, it detracts from hearing the language as it should sound. Native speakers are always best so the student can get an ear for the language properly. On the test portions, words which do not denote gender in English are not annotated, which leaves one guessing which one it wants you to say. The microphone portion is inconsistent, even when the word is pronounced properly, or fails to detect speech at all. If these issues were improved this language app would be a much better product.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback, Violet. Our team is currently working on updating the Rocket Italian audio so that both parts are spoken by native speakers. In the meantime, you can also check out the Role Playing activities to hear the full dialogue spoken by native speakers. The gender and formality indicators can be found in the top-right corner of flashcards and the bottom-right corner of other testing activities, just hover over the notation to see more information. As for the microphone issue, please get in touch with our support team (support@rocketlanguages.com), and we'd be happy to take a closer look.

There isn't a great way to review individual pieces of vocabulary (e.g. learn all the conjugations of 'aller'), and there is something of a sticker shock, but the course is generally quite good. I intend to buy the next two pieces once I have completed this one.

I have used many language assistance apps and online sites to continue my development of French, which I originally studied in High School and college. I keep returning to Rocket French as the best for a comprehensive and speedy way to learn, reinforce, and develop my language skills. For me, the structure and development of its approach is straightforward, and yet presented in a fun, and exciting manner. Motivation grows as you progress through the different levels of learning. The addition of AI generated conversations and speech analysis makes learning much more effective. The addition of cultural tidbits and tips adds the perfect extra touch in preparation for travel to a French speaking country. I cannot recommend Rocket Languages more highly.

I think the Rocket Language app is a fantastic way to learn Italian. It uses different styles and lots of information is covered in the lessons. Very good value for money.
