We are glad to hear that you are getting a lot out of the course. Best of luck with your Japanese!
I am just starting Rocket Japanese and so far I quite like it, with one exception so far. I decided to approach learning Japanese methodically and to try to master each concept before moving on. The problem is that in Module 1, there is a section on numbers, and it teaches numbers from 1 to 100,000,000. Obviously, there are patterns and generalizations one can make across the 10s, 100s, 1000s, etc, but there is a lot to learn here in one large gulp and now I have lost my momentum with the language learning. I feel the numbers should be introduced in smaller chunks so that one can progress with new vocabulary and grammar at the same time. I have been bogged down with number learning for days.

Hi Laura, thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you've lost momentum. Learning a new language is a huge undertaking, especially a language with a completely different writing system like Japanese. The Level 1 course is aligned with the JLPT, meaning we are teaching the number basics including 百 and 万 in this level. We've kept the lesson light, with less than 50 phrases in the testing section. The numbers lessons for Levels 2 and 3 deal with more advanced concepts like counters. We've emailed you with some helpful tips for learning a new language which we hope will help you get the most out of your course. All the best!
I love how interactive it is and very straightforward
I love how they don't just tell you what the words mean but show them in conversation and tell you how to pronounce them!
I love the Japanese interactive audio course!!!

It is absolutely the best language course to study the Japanese language. I would definitely recommend it to a friend or stranger. It is 5 star in every category.
I came to Rocket Japanese as a refugee from Duolingo. It is so good to use such a well thought out and "grown up" programme. I am especially pleased to have so much listening and speaking practice. I guess it would be very challenging to start as an absolute beginner; I'm glad I already know hiragana, katakana and a few kanji.
I indicated I would be likely to buy again because I didn't want to give a negative response, but it's a one off subscription so I don't need to, Great!
I've been using Rocket Japanese for 38 days.
I have now completed over 100 days and have to say I am even more pleased with the course now. In addition to the excellent course materials if you do have a query you get a very prompt and helpful reply. Very encouraging.
265 day update: I'm now finding the course quite challenging, which is a good thing. The language has become more complex. I like the way vocabulary and grammar you have already learned keeps cropping up again to help reinforce what I have learned.
I have started the free trial for about 2 hours now. So far, it has been good
With a language like Japanese, there are a lot of little things that aren't obvious but the lessons progressively show you how each little thing works. I really feel like by the end of Level 1, I will be ready for my trip to Japan.
And hopefully once I finish level 2, I will be able to understand shows in other languages!
Es simplemente perfecto! Me encanta la función donde puedes hablar y te reconoce la voz perfectamente, no todas las aplicaciones cuentan con eso. Es muy buen precio, pero lamentablemente no me tengo la oportunidad para comprarlo por mi estado económico. えーと~ありがとうございます!
